Islamabad (Urdu Times);The Kulsum International Hospital, Islamabad has been inaugurated of its new Siemens Magnetom Flow MRI 1.5 Tesla machine. At this historical occision the ceremony was graced by Chief Guest Dr. Malik Mukhtar Ahmed, Minister of State for National Health Services, Regulations and Coordination, along with hospital leadership, consultants, and distinguished guests.
The event began with a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by Dr. Malik Mukhtar Ahmed. Following the inauguration, CEO of Kulsum International Hospital Mr. Asif Saifullah Khan, delivered opening remarks, emphasizing the hospital’s unwavering commitment to continuous innovation, patient-centered care, and clinical excellence.
The Medical Director Dr. Omar Imtiaz Hasan outlined the clinical advantages of the new MRI, highlighting its AI-enabled precision, faster imaging, and enhanced patient comfort.
The Minister of State for National Health Services Dr. Malik Mukhtar Ahmed praised the hospital’s proactive adoption of world-class medical technology, noting that such initiatives are essential for improving healthcare quality and accessibility across the country.
The Chairman of Saifullah Healthcare Limited, Prof. Dr. Iqbal Saifullah Khan, concluded the ceremony with his remarks, commending the dedication of the hospital team and Siemens representatives.
He highlighted that Kulsum International Hospital is expanding its bed capacity by 30% at its existing facility, with completion expected by year-end.
He also shared that the team is actively working on the ambitious “Kulsum Medical City”, a multi-phase development envisioned to become a premier hub for medical services.
Following the formal proceedings, guests and participants joined for a networking lunch.
